The 10th WBMT Workshop and 4th Nurses Workshop will take place from June 25–27, 2026 in Panama City and will bring together international experts in hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT). Organized by the Worldwide Network for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (WBMT) in collaboration with the Latin American Bone Marrow Transplantation Group (LABMT), with the support of the Sociedad Panameña de Hematología, and in partnership with the (PAHO) and the (WHO), the event is aimed at physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals from Central America, the Caribbean, and neighboring regions.

The workshop’s main objective is to improve access to life-saving transplant and cellular therapies, particularly in countries with limited resources. Key topics include the establishment and expansion of transplant programs, quality assurance, donor selection and safety, training, and the exchange of regional experiences. A special highlight will be the presentation of national HCT activities from more than twelve countries.

The first two days are dedicated to medical professionals, while the third day is specifically designed as a Nurses Workshop, focusing on strengthening knowledge and skills in transplant care. The event will be held in a hybrid format, encouraging both in-person participation and international exchange, collaboration, and networking.
